Gay Larson has spent the last 18 years studying photography and developing a style all her own. Her journey began when she inherited an older manual Minolta camera. As she learned how to use the camera she developed a passion and love of photography, particularly black and white photography. Her fine art pieces are all made in the traditional manner, film based, silver gelatin prints produced in her own darkroom. In her desire to learn more and more of the various alternative photography methods, she has also been producing lith prints which have a lovely and unusual look. She has also developed a totally different side of her photography skills, using digital, to produce stunning portraits and wedding photography.
